Celestia is like a card game and dice where players go on a treasure hunt in different cities. They want to get the most treasures and win by having the highest score of 50 points. To do this, players choose a color and put their pieces on an aircraft. The aircraft travels from low-numbered cities to high-numbered ones, and staying on the aircraft longer brings better rewards. However, there are dangers that can stop the aircraft, and those still on it might not get any rewards.
