The Gainlings – Best Blockchain Game

The Gainlings are a combination of PVP and P2E on Arbitrum One.

It’s a shootout tournament where the tokens fight to steal each others minting-value.

Each token gets random attributes during the minting process. The attributes are attack, defense and weight. Attack and defense points define the combat ability of the token and each weight point adds one second to cooldown. All attributes are stored inside the tokens metadata. The contract also stores the “bounty” and the “stack” of each NFT.

The bounty represents what other tokens can earn when they win against this token.

The stack represents the current earnings.

The value which was payed by the minter is the start-bounty of the token.

After the minting stage, the arena will open and the tokens will be able to attack each other. The fights are always 1 vs 1. It’s a fight for life and death.

The loser gets burned. The bounty of the loser is split 50/50 between the winners stack and bounty. If the loser had something in his stack, it will be transferred automatically to the owner of the burned token. The winner will go into a cooldown phase where it cannot attack a certain time given by its equipment weight.

The game only ends if only one token is left or all remaining tokens belong to the same address. The winner will be rewarded with its bounty AND stack.
